Kalinga Vysyas are mostly spread around Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, whereas Thrivarnikas are small in number and spread in small pockets of Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and Warangal districts.
